Bohemian Inspired Wedding Photography Workshop | Frye Imaging | Houma, La
I'm proud to announce my very first photography workshop on January 19, 2020 in Houma, Louisiana. Location will be provided upon booking your reservation. This is going to be so exciting for all of us because we're going to cover SO much and have a shootout! The workshop will be held only one day and be very limited in availability. I will include all of the information as well as how to sign up and reserve your spot at the bottom of this blog.
The workshop will concentrate on several aspects of wedding and general portrait shooting. We will work on things such as posing, finding the light and working with it, making your own light and off camera flash, and how to take charge of a wedding day. We will also go over manual shooting and how to meter and get that perfect white balance we so dream of. As far as business goes, we will go over marketing, pricing, and social media. I will go over the in's and out's of how I run a successful wedding business and how you can too!
Once we take a break to enjoy some delicious food, We will have a beautiful bride modeling in a well stylized shoot.
Expect to have a lot of one on one time with me. The workshop is kept small and intimate in a judgement free environment. No question is too big or small and I want everyone to feel comfortable asking all those important questions! Expect to have lots of fun in a structured setting. I can't wait to meet you all!

1. Do I have to be a professional to attend the workshop?
Absolutely not! We welcome all levels and skill sets when it comes to photography. In my eyes, it's always been community over competition. To be able to share with someone up and coming or just learning is amazing. So the answer is, no, you don't have to be a professional to attend our workshop.
2. What do I need to bring with me?
You do not have to bring anything, however, I do suggest bringing a notebook or recorder to take down notes of what we discuss. I will be sharing valuable information and it's always great to have something to look back on and refresh your memory on those big wedding days. And of course, bring your camera to join our shoot out portion!
3. Will there be food?
Oh you better believe it. There will also be a beautiful cake made by Erica Duthu of Deadlift Cookie Co! It's sure to be a sweet day.
4. We have two or multiple photographers attending with my business. Do we receive a discount?
Please, email me (email@example.com) to discuss our options on this as we do offer a discount for multiple business partners/apprentices attending.
5. Can I use images from the workshop for my website or social media?
Absolutely! That is what our shootout is based around. Sharing the knowledge and getting breath-taking shots to share. All we ask is you tag any and all vendors involved in our shootout as well as the shootout itself. We will make sure to include fun hashtags to be used as well as have a list of all the vendors involved in our shootout.
6. What is the bride wearing?
If you have any questions or concerns please email Kylie at firstname.lastname@example.org
* The fee for this workshop is $250 dollars. It is to be paid in full at time of booking. No exceptions. There will be no refunds unless there is a cancellation or a reschedule of the workshop.
